Sharri Fletcher received her professional training from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, graduating with a B.A. in Psychology and an M.S. in Community Counseling. She is licensed and certified as a professional counselor in the states of Iowa and Nebraska and is a member of several professional organizations.
Sharri uses evidence based practices approved by the American Psychological Association. A combination of theories are applied and then tailored to meet each client's specific needs. These theories include, but are not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a Person Centered Therapeutic approach.
Her general practice consists of working both with individuals and groups. Her background is extensive in that she has 18 years working with both the criminal justice system and law enforcement which has given her broad exposure to individuals in life's most trying circumstances. This experience provided Sharri the necessary tools to help her clients negotiate through the criminal justice system.
In her 10 years of counseling experience she has dealt with domestic violence, substance abuse, crisis response, marriage and family counseling, adolescent counseling as well as individual support therapy. Sharri's background gives her the ability to deal with life's challenges, both large and small.
Sharri enjoyed the Loess Hills community as a resident of Woodbine for 14 years and has a special place in her heart for the people in this rural area. She looks forward to integrating back into the community and serving others.

Our mission at Fletcher Counseling is to create a confidential space for the rural residents in the Loess Hills community to receive affordable, quality services in a caring environment.
The therapeutic process acts as a guide in helping our clients to make empowered decisions about their individual and professional lives. We assist individuals in recognizing the strengths they already have and finding creative ways to utilize these gifts in overcoming currents issues that prevent them from feeling fully empowered. At Fletcher Counseling, we know that an individual is always growing personally and healing is always happening. Sometimes each of us needs support and guidance in our journey.
